TOP ATTENDEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION:

Nexus Media Events is the organising company for the TOP, Telecommunications, Optical, Photonics Conference 2022.   Nexus Is a company registered in England & Wales under company registration number 1993193. The registered office is located at 210 Canalot Studios, 222 Kensal Road, London, W10 5BN

 

PAYMENTS AND BOOKINGS

All applicants who register for the conference are subject to availability and full payment being made.

Confirmation of your booking will be confirmed digitally via email and badges will be sent to the registered email to print off a week before. You may be asked for photographic ID during the conference to confirm your name matches the badge and if the identification doesn’t match you will be asked to leave the conference.

All payments must be made by credit card. A receipt will be sent to confirm the purchase and payment digitally.

FORCE MAJURE/ POSTPONEMENT /CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

In the event of the occurrence of postponing the conference we the organisers will offer you a credit which can be applied to the following date of the conference.

We reserve the right and shall be entitled to cancel or postpone the date of the conference. We shall notify you of any planned changes to the date of the conference directly via email.

If you are unable to attend the conference, your badge can be transferred the badge to another person. This must be done at least 2 days before the start of the event. Should you wish to proceed with this option please contact: info@topconference.com

We reserve the right to make changes to the conference at any time without liability to you including without limitation in respect of the advertised content, timings on the day, date, format, venue and/or location of the conference or the advertised speakers. All attendees will be notified, via email, of any changes.

No refunds will be given by us in respect of postponement or non- attendance. Organisers reserve the right to change the format to a digital platform if the event cannot take place in a physical format.

Cancellation – attendees will receive monies back after costs incurred by the organisers have been recognised; costs include venue fees, staffing, administration etc. This would only come to affect if we cannot hold the event, if events were beyond our control (including, without limitation, acts of gods, extreme weather conditions, power failure, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, riot, civil commotion, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, malicious damage, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action, accident, failure or breakdown of machinery or systems or a pandemic, epidemic, civil, emergency or other widespread illness).

 

CONFERENCE SESSIONS CONTENT

All rights in all presentation, documentation and materials published or otherwise made available as part of the conference (including but not limited to any documentation packs or audio or audio visual of the conference) are owned by us or included with the permission of the owner of the rights. No filming or photography is permitted.

Attendees are not permitted to :

  • Upload content into any shared system
  • Make commercial use of the content in any format
  • Share the content on any website pages

 

The content is not a reflection of our view or opinion and we have the right to suspend or remove any content.

 

LIABILITY

 

Not withstand any provision in these Terms and Conditions, we are not liable for in each case:

 

  • Profit
  • Revenue
  • Business
  • Contracts
  • Opportunities
  • Data
  • Anticipated savings or interests
  • Reputation
  • Costs of wasted Management or staff time.
  • Travel, Accommodation, or other costs and expenses
  • Loss, costs or expenses of any kind, indirect special consequential damages

 

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude either party’s liability.

 

  • Death or personal injury caused by that party’s negligence to extent prohibited by law. Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • Any other Liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law.

 

GENERAL

 

The Terms and Conditions contain the agreement and understanding between us and supersede all prior arrangements (both oral and written) relating to the subject matter.

 

You acknowledge that in registering a delegate place you have not relied on, and have no remedy in respect of, any statement, representation, warranty, understanding promise or assurance (whether negligently or innocently made) of any person other than as expressly set out in the terms.

 

You accept the communication with us may be electronic. We may contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. You agree to this electronic means and you acknowledge all such communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal contractual requirements that such communication be made in writing.
